We have expanded our school age program to accommodate students who need care during the Covid-19 pandemic. We offer full time e-learning supervision and guidance as well as part time care for hybrid learning days.

Teachers have their Master's,  BA., A.S, or CDA degrees and are CPR and first aid certified. Staff also participate in annual continued education classes, seminars and online training to stay current on the most up to date trends and information in the Early Childhood Education field.

Penny Lane's Curriculum is the same as the one used by Head Start. Teachers use the IL Early Learning Standards to create lesson plans. Activities are provided in the areas of art, music, children's literature, concept development, large and small motor skills, dramatic play, listening skills, nature science and many others. An annual  " Curriculum Night " is offered to give parents a review of the Curriculum and give the opportunity to ask questions and view the tools used in the classroom.
